Terms of Service · August 5, 2026

A clear agreement for a consequential tool.

These terms govern your use of the Remsen Mac application, website, hosted services, and paid subscriptions.

Subscription summary

Remsen Hobby is $29 per month. Remsen for Work is $79 per month. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the paid period. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

1. Eligibility and your account

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and use Remsen only in compliance with applicable law. You are responsible for accurate account information, the security of your Mac and account, and activity performed through your installation or connected phone.

2. The free proof

The initial download allows a local scan, a complete first To-Do list, and previews of supported context without a paid subscription. Ongoing Desk refreshes and agent capabilities require the applicable paid plan. The free proof is not a promise that Remsen will find every obligation or interpret every conversation correctly.

3. Plans and billing

Current plan features and prices appear on the pricing page. Stripe processes recurring payments. By beginning a subscription, you authorize the monthly charge shown at Checkout until you cancel. Taxes may be added where required.

Promotional trials begin and end at the times shown at Checkout. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the selected monthly subscription begins automatically and the payment method on file is charged.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and does not normally end access before the current paid period expires. Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partial periods, except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase.

5. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in messages, calendar information, memory, instructions, and documents you provide or create. You give Remsen permission to access and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Notice.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to connect data sources and use the content you ask Remsen to process. Do not use Remsen to violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or legal rights.

6. Review-first responsibility

Remsen can misunderstand context, miss work, produce incorrect information, or draft something unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and confirming recipients, facts, dates, and consequences before relying on or sending them. Remsen is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Remsen to break the law; harass, deceive, surveil, or exploit people; distribute malware; defeat security or usage controls; probe other users’ data; automate spam; or develop a competing model or service through abusive extraction. You may not resell or share an individual subscription outside the use permitted by its plan.

8. Software license and updates

Subject to these terms, Remsen grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Mac application for your own permitted purposes. Remsen and its licensors retain all rights in the application and service. Updates may change or discontinue features, and important security or compatibility updates may be required.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Remsen reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features that depend on macOS, local source databases, model providers, Cloudflare, Stripe, web search, or iMessage delivery may be delayed or unavailable. We may modify the service, limits, or plan contents. Material pricing changes apply prospectively with notice required by law.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Remsen at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material breach, abusive or dangerous use, nonpayment, security risk, or legal necessity. When a paid entitlement ends, Remsen may return to free-proof behavior without automatically deleting the data stored on your Mac.

11. Disclaimers and limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remsen is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remsen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

12. General

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement without consent; Remsen may assign it as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or asset transfer. Electronic notices and agreements satisfy written-form requirements where permitted.
